Our Process

How a project moves from first message to a finished, shared pool-spa system.

A coordinated process, not a one-off visit

Every project runs through the same sequence, whether it's a planning visit on its own, a standard install, or the premium integrated build. Consistency here is what keeps the pool and spa tied together as one system instead of two unrelated installs.

We built the process around the handoffs that most often go wrong on a pool-spa project — the gap between the shell contractor finishing and the electrician starting, or between the equipment going in and the homeowner actually learning how to run it. Closing those gaps is most of what the process is for.

The same sequence applies whether this is your first pool project or your third — new clients and repeat clients both start at the planning visit, because every yard and every spa placement is different.

We keep the steps the same on purpose. A process that changes from project to project is harder to explain honestly, and harder for us to improve when something along the way does not go as planned.

Who leads each stage

null

A planner visits the site and prepares the layout and estimate. Once a package is agreed, the same planner stays as the point of contact through scheduling, the trades' work and the final handover — you are not handed between different contacts partway through.

For the construction stage, we coordinate directly with the shell, plumbing and electrical trades, so you are not managing multiple schedules yourself.

How pricing fits the process

null

The starting-range prices on the services page apply to typical yard conditions. A firm figure follows the planning visit, once grading, access and the distance between pool and spa are confirmed — this step is built into the process, not an add-on.

If the final figure comes in different from the starting range, we walk through exactly why before you approve it — a longer plumbing run or extra electrical capacity are the two most common reasons.

Quick answers

null

Can I start with just the planning visit?

Yes — the planning visit is its own line item and does not commit you to the install packages.

How involved do I need to be during construction?

We coordinate the trades directly; most clients check in at the key milestones rather than daily.

What happens if the yard needs more work than expected?

We flag it as soon as it's found and revise the estimate before continuing, rather than proceeding on the original figure.

What's included at handover

null

  • A joint walkthrough of the pool and spa controls
  • Documentation covering both systems
  • A point of contact for follow-up questions about the install

This handover step is the same for every project regardless of package, because it is the point where the homeowner takes over day-to-day operation of a system that was, until then, our responsibility.

If a question comes up weeks later about either the pool or the spa controls, the same planner who ran the project is still the right person to call.
